Application Process for Dandy Plastic Emulsion

To achieve the best results with Dandy Plastic Emulsion, follow this streamlined application process:

  1. Surface Preparation
    • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or loose particles.
    • For previously painted surfaces, remove any flaking or peeling paint.
    • Fill cracks, holes, or imperfections with a suitable wall putty and allow it to dry completely.
    • Sand the surface smoothly and wipe off the dust with a clean cloth.
  2. Priming
    • Apply a coat of Dandy Paints Interior Primer for enhanced adhesion and improved paint coverage.
    • Allow the primer to dry completely (4-6 hours) before proceeding with the emulsion.
  3. Thinning
    • Mix Dandy Plastic Emulsion thoroughly before use.
    • For the first coat, dilute the emulsion with clean water at a 1:4 ratio (1 part paint to 4 parts water).
    • For subsequent coats, maintain a 1:2 ratio for better opacity and finish.
  4. Application
    • Use a high-quality brush, roller, or spray for application.
    • Apply the first coat evenly and allow it to dry for 2-3 hours.
    • Apply 2-3 additional coats as needed, ensuring proper drying time between each coat.
    • Use smooth strokes or consistent roller motion to achieve an even, elegant finish.
  5. Finishing
    • Allow the final coat to dry completely for 6-8 hours to ensure durability and a flawless appearance.
